Jammu :  With a viewto increase the working capabilities of the officials already posted in cyber labs and ESU units of Jammu zone, a five days training programme was organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu at Officers Mess Jammu with effect from 8th of July, which concluded today.

Cyber Expert and Director Blak tronics Investigation Labs Sh.Ishaan Sinha was the resource person for the course, who not only taught the basic aspects of cyber policing but also touched the basic tricks to acts martly while dealing with cyber frauds. Bank frauds, Hacking, spoofing,identity theft and all other cyber related crimes were discussed at length andtheir practical demonstrations were also given by the instructor.Sh. M.K. Sinha-IPS, Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In his concluding remarks he emphasized on the importance of knowledge and its implementation in tracking the cyber crime. He told the gathering that the people have high expectations from Police in terms of tracking cyber cases and for that all policemen irrespective of their rank should possess basic  cyber investigatives kills. He asked the participants to apply all the techniques learnt during thecourse for solving the cyber situations they are investigating. The power ofcyber tools be used for decoding the puzzle of cyber frauds, he reiterated. In the end, the officials were given the certificates of participation and commendation certificates for securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in thecourse. The whole proceedings of the programme were carried out by the course coordinator Sh. Sandeep Mehta, SSP Operations Jammu.
